Annual Community Festival in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland

For four consecutive years (2014-2017) I planned and facilitated a native plant festival and sale in Oakland, California to raise funds for local restoration and land-based learning programs. A day of family and community fun that usually welcomed over 600 people, this festival involved a native plant sale, public speakers, educational booths, guided hikes in the park, horticulture workshops, arts and crafts, and live music.
